Bob Thomas, of Apollo, Pennsylvania, is a visual adjudicator and educator who has taught many championship high school marching bands, drum and bugle corps, winter guards, and winter winds. He judges or has judged for Bands of America, Drum Corps International, Winter Guard International, Drum Corps Midwest, Drum Corps Atlantic, ISSMA, Drum Corps Europe, the Atlantic Indoor Association, and others, and designed the current scoring system used by Drum Corps Europe and Drum Corps Asia across 12 countries. He is Chairman of Drum Corps Asia, Director of Education for the Atlantic Indoor Association, Co-Chair of the PIMBA Education Committee, and Director of Education for the Virginia Marching Band Cooperative.
