Carl Nelson is a visual judge with over 35 years of experience in the marching arts, serving as an adjudicator for Drum Corps International (DCI), Winter Guard International (WGI), and Bands of America (BOA). He served as the Visual Proficiency judge for the 2022 DCI World Championship Finals and has also judged at BOA Regional and Grand National Championships, WGI Winds Championships, and DCI Open Class Championships. Nelson resides in Corona, California.
