Jeff Brooks is a percussion adjudicator and a senior non-commissioned officer in the United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, the Army's premier field music ensemble and official escort to the President. A native of Dayton, Ohio, he studied music education at Eastern Michigan and Wright State, and performed in DCI with the Glassmen, Crossmen, Madison Scouts, and Bluecoats and in WGI with Rhythm X (Ensemble Captain for their first World Championship in 2008). As an educator he has worked with Carolina Crown, the Madison Scouts, George Mason University, and many high school programs. He is Judge Coordinator for the Atlantic Indoor Association and a DCI percussion judge, including at the 2025 DCI World Championships.
