
Mickey Kelly
About
Michael 'Mickey' Kelly is a general-effect/color guard adjudicator and World Drum Corps Hall of Fame member who has dedicated more than 50 years to the drum corps activity. He produced championship color guard and drill for several corps, including drill design for the Shoreliners and five-time state champion Bengal Lancers and championship guards for the Hawthorne Caballeros and Connecticut Hurricanes, and served as visual guard caption head for the 27th Lancers, Hawthorne Muchachos, Hawthorne Caballeros, and Bushwackers. He has served as a general-effect visual guard judge for DCA, DCI, and the East Coast Judges Association, and was formerly chief judge coordinator for WGI, a key participant in developing the subjective judging system still used today.
