Paul McGarr

About

Paul McGarr is a brass/music adjudicator and clinician with over 35 years of teaching experience in southern Ontario and 20 years as musical director, composer, and arranger for prominent Ontario drum corps. He majored in jazz performance (trumpet) with a composition minor at the University of Toronto and holds an honors degree from Mohawk College's Applied Music program. In demand across North America and Japan for DCI, Bands of America, and music festivals, he has adjudicated the DCI World Championships and U.S. National Championships some 25 times, frequently serving as a Music Brass judge. He lives in Brantford, Ontario, Canada.
